Conference coverage

Not sure if this deserves its own forum topic but I have a couple of questions/comments:

  • are there plans to display the twitter stream on the connect2change home page? That is quite engaging especially if live tweeting is taking place.
  • what hash tags are proposed for this conference? hash tags are added to tweets so make it easy to find tweets on a given topic. An example could be #c2c. It's ideal to plan how to archive the tweets so they are easily retrievable post-conference as hash tags disappear after a while. A good example of such a tool is Twapperkeeper - see the medicine 2.0 tags here: http://twapperkeeper.com/med2/.
  • are there plans to stream/upload video recordings, slides...etc of the presentations? This will be very helpful to those of us following the conference remotely. The medicine 2.o congress had a good coverage and archiving strategy here: under post-conference news http://www.medicine20congress.com/ocs/index.php/med/med2009 They use flickr for photos, slideshare for slides...etc.

Excellent suggestions

These are excellent suggestions, shebamuturi. And very useful to have a real example to look at. Indeed this is a learning experience, and so all leads are very welcome. We do indeed propose to upload pictures, presentations and some videos (although not full recordings). Your suggestions above are spot-on.

Thanks, and keep them coming.
